Dr. Madhu Berman

Dr. Berman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. She did fellowship training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center under the world renowned Allergist, Dr. Douglas Heiner. Dr. Berman has been in private practice of allergy and immunology since 1993. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA Medical School and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

Dr. Berman has privileges at Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Providence Little Company of Mary Hospitals at San Pedro and Torrance.

Dr. Berman is a fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

She is a member of the following local and national organizations:

  • Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network
  • California Society of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology

Dr. Berman is married to pediatrician, David W. Berman, MD for 20 years. After getting married, they have lived in the South Bay. They have one daughter. Dr. Berman's interests include: gardening, traveling, visiting museums and reading.

Dr. Berman likes to support causes locally and worldwide. Local causes include Peninsula Education Foundation, Warner Grand Theater and Cabrillo Marine Aquarium. She views these organizations as places that enhance the quality of education and outside-the-classroom activities for young people.
